Distinctive leave with the children, but head across the road (with responsible leaders) to the church house. This provides an informal setting for the group to discuss the Bible, life and any other issues that affect the life of a teenager.
The group felt that they were a little different in the church (because of age) and in their schools (because they are Christians) and so chose to call themselves Distinctive. They always make sure that they are back in the church in time for the coffee so that you don't have to go searching for them. |
